Quick, alert the authorities, a mustached man named Muntford stole the Sony Open trophy!  Ah wait, that was Johnson Wagner with the mustache with his real first name revealed (Muntford), as he fired stellar rounds of 68-66-66-67 to capture the title by two shots.  Many of us may not know the man who prefers to go by two last names (Johnson Wagner), but judging by how he played this past week we should get to know him.  Wagner told his caddie and some friends that he truly felt a win coming early this season, and oh how right he was, as he even got a little bit choked up discussing it (Steve Stricker style) in the post round interview.  The win gets Wagner into this year’s Masters plus a two year PGA Tour exemption.  Also in the post round interview, Wagner said that he many not shave the mustache until after Augusta, unless the green jackets make him shave it first.  No matter what now, he’ll be busy the second week of April.
